is the hottie factor throughout non-existent? :P
How do you feel about Krysten Ritter? :P Seriously, it really is one of the best shows I've ever seen, so I'm happy to see you maybe reconsidering it, homes; you won't be let down!

Eh, I don't really want to watch that but I am kind of interested in what a modern slavery would look like. How science and modern ideas would warp to make owning people not racist and perfect fine. Though really, there is some pretty modern slavery going on in nonwestern country.

I like her when she isn't brooding.

I shall reconsider.

Yeah, Breaking Bad is probably not the best place to get what you're looking for there.

Woohoo; the 1st season feels a bit short & incomplete because, well... it was, due to the writer's strike at the time, but it steadily got better and better throughout its first proper season (the 2nd one), and then just kept getting better from then on as well. S4 is my favorite overall, so maybe try to finish at least that one, and then you'll surely know whether or not the show's for you.

I know, but it suited her role in it perfectly, and it's still just such a good show overall.

The Dark Tower Series Sets Glen Mazzara As Showrunner

Was never a huge Walking Dead fan, but I'm still holding out hope that this won't be as bad as (apparently) the movie is...

:(

I'm sad too, I never read the books, but the trailers made the gunslinger look like a good role for Elba

Every week I keep waiting for a certain Game of Thrones character to die and he simply won't.

I heard they'll start working on it after the showrunners of Thrones finish production on that show's final season, which will either be next year or in early 2019.

A very special Breaking Bad pulled a train robbery, and proved the power of plot

Got a nice little article talking about the strength of the episode of Breaking Bad called "Dead Freight". Nitpicking about the Skyler/Walt Jr. scenes aside, fans of BB may enjoy checking this out, just like I did. Edit: Although I have no idea why you would write in detail about "Dead Freight" when everyone knows that the most divisive, experimental, intriguing episode of that entire show was "Fly", easy; it's a bottle episode where they do nothing but chase after a fly, for crying out loud.

Yeah, I bet they're deeply troubled - deeply troubled that the truth is officially out, and it might reflect poorly on them as a company. People have known for years that Spacey is a pedophile and sexual predator, just as they knew about Weinstein. These things are not secrets, and never were.

It kills me that Spacey is this brutal. I've been a big fan of his for almost 20 years, but ya know, fuck him if he thinks this shit is okay.

Apparently, Ridley Scott's even completely cutting him out of All The Money In The World and reshooting all of his scenes with Christopher Plummer instead, even though the film's still only about a month away from release...

I've read that, yeah. I mean, the movie would have probably been shit either way, but I admire his moral/business stance.

I dunno Speng; while I am a bit skeptical that they won't just turn the LotRverse into just another endlessly recurring franchise in a series of 'em, on the other hand, I am hopeful that they can use the huge mythology of Tolkien's world to give us something actually worthwhile, and that really develops that universe in a televised format. Not saying that that's super-likely, but at least give it a chance for it to prove itself, I say.
