Hemsworth over Evans? Madness!

Hemsworth reminds me less of myself. but that sounds like I'm taking points off Evans for being neurotic/anxious and that is cruel.

When doing your calculations, did you take into consideration that Evans once drunkenly called Leonard Maltin "bitch" to his face? I feel this is an important piece of calculus.

See, I give Evans huge points for discussing his anxiety. Plus I liked Before We Go. Chris Pine has a weird vibe to him--and it took me a while to get over the fact that he looks like a sociopathic serial killer--but he's grown on me and I like the range of work that he does.

I'd say:

Chris Evans
Chris Pine
Chris Pratt
Chris Hemsworth

Top 10 Superhero Movies (no particular order)

Logan
Watchmen
The Incredibles
Super
Avengers: Infinity War
X2: X-Men United
Spider-Man 2
The Dark Knight
X-Men: First Class
Kick-Ass 2

I love the Guardians of the Galaxy movies as much as any of these, but they don't scream "superhero" to me.

I didn't. come to think of it, I forgot he also said he hated Ben Shapiro on social media. Chris Evans probably wouldn't have done 12 Strong either.....

Hemsworth is still a close second! my feet are in concrete!

As long as Pratt is at the bottom we're all good, because that guy fucking sucks.

Pratt was able to make a name for himself before becoming hot. I'm not counting him out just yet.

although my feelings on Parks and Rec as a whole have been sullied by the recent political environment i.e. it just seems so hopelessly naive about what 2016 ended up bringing us.

Oh, I don't know. He seems like a nice person from everything I've seen. I think that a big problem is that too much of his work for the last five years has seemed to just rely on his charisma and not asked much more of him. I think he's a decently strong comedic talent--some of his best lines on P&R were his own ad-libs.

No, Tak, he's a bad person and you should feel bad for liking him.

I think I push him towards the bottom because I know he can be good when he's actually allowed to be funny, but he's settled into this terrible leading man mode that highlights his limitations compared to all the other Chrises, who have both comedic talents and actual charisma.

I'll agree that when given very little to work with (as was the case in Jurassic World), he doesn't bring anything extra to the generic goofy man-boy action dude character. By contrast, Chris Evans does stuff with his character in Cellular that is beyond the very generic limitations of that character (actually--the whole cast lifts that one up).

Post Re: Lists Lists Lists

you all have changed my heart. new rankings

1. Chris Evans
2. Chris Hemsworth
3. Chris Pratt
4. Chris Pine
5. Chris O'Donnell

Hemsworth has his narrow range but does it well so he stays at #2. Pine has the possibility to ascend since I've seen so little of his work. Pratt might be coasting but is still A-list so he's not down for the count yet. I admit that Evans may have always been #1 all along, I just needed others to help me see it for myself.
