Nice. Blevo what made you want to go and follow that path? Was it always like an ambition? I followed my ambition too and started a podcast. We get like around 10 listens per episode. More than I ever expected haha. https://soundcloud.com/user-327677431

It was always a secret dream of mine from a very early age, I just never had the confidence to actually follow through with it. Some people here might remember the hell I went through a few years ago with all of my health issues and bad marriage. After receiving 730 injections in my gut in 2014, I just ran out of fear. After everything I had been through, I figured "fuck it" and hopped on my first stage in May of 2016. I haven't looked back since. It's a long slow grind to find your comedic voice, but I'm on my way. I push myself out of my comfort zone as often as possible, and find myself landing new opportunities all the time. I have gigs on my calendar all the way through December of next year. I'm broke as fuck, still battle my health even though it isn't nearly as bad as it was, adjusting to life as a divorced dad, but I'm happier than I've ever been, I found the love of my life and I'm learning what unconditional love is all about, and it's getting better all the time.
Ace, how can I convince your listenership to go to my website and click on an ad several times.
You could sponsor us. And I'll mention your website somewhere during the podcast.

Yeah I remember your health issues. And your divorce came as a shock to all of us who posted here at the time. Glad to see you pulled thru and are happier than ever. I'm going thru my own health thing right now. I think I have carpel tunnel on my right arm. Also have a really bad Ulcer I can't seem to shake. Also doesn't help when you have no health insurance and are broke.

What'd you think of what I wrote about Clockwork Orange, Evil? Admittedly, I don't like it quite as much you do (or at least, as much as I remember you liking it), but there's still plenty of quality content in it for you enjoy, nonetheless.

I got your message. I'm slacking, but I'll listen today.

Cool always looking for feeback. Trying to see what works. What doesn't. Already had to police myself because I noticed I said certain words too much.

The best part of both version of It is the first five minutes. After that you can pretty much tune out.

Dodgers are actually up right now keep watching the Raps.
Pretty hot take I found over at the av club comments section:
Scott Pilgrim(the movie and comics) is the video game nostalgia wank fest for “cool millennials” who are too cool for Ready Player One.

Can't agree on that point; while Pilgrim (the movie) had its fair share of nostalgic nods and Easter eggs, it's still a far cry from the rote, mindless namedroppings of Ready, as I've always feel Edgar Wright put at least as much crackling, creative energy into Pilgrim as every other film he's done to date (if not moreso), and it feels like the commenter is just being dismissive of that, IMO.
Anyway, speaking of AV Club, I checked out A.A. Dowd's review of Widows, and his comment of "Steve McQueen’s Widows is the type of movie that Hollywood too rarely bankrolls anymore: a mid-budget crackerjack crowdpleaser for adults" really caught my attention (well, that, plus the average score of 8.2 it's currently holding back at The Other Place). So, I'm almost definitely going to go see it tomorrow, since it just came to town; has it caught your interest any yet, Evil?
I just had a fight with my mother. It truly is Christmas.

As, I'm sorry to hear that Slent; fighting with the fam is never fun, but it's even more fucked up around what's supposed to be a happy occasion, like a holiday. What was the matter, anyway?

Thanks, Stu.
After my parents got divorced earlier this year, my mom started dating this jerk. She spend all her time with him so my sister and me barely see her ever. This has been going on for like half a year. Whenever she has a day of or some vacation time she's always hanging out with him. Every weekend she goes off to his house (he lives pretty far) and in the beginning she left some food for us, but nowadays she doesn't even do that. The fight in question started at this Christmas Eve party at my grandparents' home. She left three hours before everyone else so she could drive to his house to spend the night there (he had some bullshit excuse to not have to be with our family) and therefore leaving us without a car (while we needed that to do some errands the next day since there was no food left in the house) and not having a Christmas breakfast with us like she promised. That might seem minor, but is yet another example of her not keeping her promises and proving she rather be with him than with her own children.
Sorry for the rant, I just needed to put that out there. I'm just so tired of this shit.

Well, that does suck; here's hoping that this extreme infatuation with this new guy is only temporary, and she re-balances her love life with spending more time as a family with you guys soon.
I hope that I wasn't the only one who may have spent an inordinant amount of New Year's time watching the Ultima Thule flyby. I hope.

I'm just going to wait for the images. I did, however, pay close attention to the Pluto flyby.

We all have to wait for the quality images, but so far it looks like the cat-lady cock sculpture from Clockwork Orange.

So True Detective Season 3 is good I guess. Guess we have to sacrifice Evil, Obscure, and Nameless to Pizzolatto.
