It can't send texts yet!

HOWEVER, you can broadcast to it using your voice or its voice through the Google Assistant app, available on iPhone and Android devices.

Pantone is the Merriam-Webster of colorimetry. CIELAB or Munsell would probably be the OED. Very rough equivalents, mind you.

Re-started and I get hit with J Jonah Jameson doing the worst British accent since Kevin Costner.

This retroactively makes me hate Portal 2, the last ever game in the Portal series.

I quit Portal 2 during the J Jonah stuff and in a way I quit Valve, save for the ten minutes I played of The Lab (RIP VR)

Dude has had some seriously questionable career choices post-WHIPLASH

It's weird because Tomas Alfredson showed such a deft hand with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in piling on the convolution that's inherent in that story only to home in on the central drama where it counts. The Snowman is just so goddamn misguided in that regard. The killer's backstory is so fucking absurd, and the moment you meet the adult version of the character on screen, it's so easy to figure out he's the killer
because the movie very conspicuously makes him a surgeon when the killings obviously require surgical knowledge, even though the detectives never seem to realize that little detail themselves.

Him being a surgeon was such a goofy, obvious red flag that he was the killer. It didn't even come up organically, Fassbender just says some random comment about him being a surgeon.

And we haven't even mentioned Val Kilmer! What was the deal with him? His voice was very obviously ADR, but did he actually provide the dubbing or was that done by someone else, because it sounds nothing like him? And what batshit crazy decision did he initially make that necessitated that audio replacement? Did he try a Scandinavian accent before the whole production just decided on "standard British accent"? I need to know!

Supposedly the dubbing of Kilmer was because he had throat cancer, although I can't imagine why the production wouldn't have replaced him instead of bizarrely dubbing his lines and sort of shooting around him. Either way that entire subplot was so weird.

Should've dubbed over Simmons with literally any other accent.

Maybe I'm dumb, but at a certain point I basically couldn't follow what the hell was happening in the movie, and I probably couldn't even explain the point of Simmons if I had to.

What's the matter? "Scandinavian J.K. Simmons" doesn't immediately conjure a foppish British accent for you? At least those distracting glowing lapel pins were a solid production choice.

What made this extra weird was unlike most characters, he was like aggressively Norwegian and gave speeches about Norway.

And, unlike the rest of the British cast, he's American. So he's affecting an accent that doesn't even make sense in context.

It's like the shark in Jaws. You don't want to show too much before it becomes goofy looking.
