Very nice... except I hate how the video gets cut off so abruptly at the end. Is the film good as well, Ver?

The film is really good. You'd like the music-memory tie for the characters. The mystical aspect reminded me a bit of Medem and Kieslowski. The jumping around in time and between stories pushed me away sometimes, but Helene Florent and Vanessa Paradis pulled me back in with intensity and the quickness. Tough, beautiful work about being facing change.

That scene is cut off like that in the film. If you want to see what the next shot is, it's included in this vid.

Good Men, Good Women | Hou | 1995

Pity the print in such terrible condition. Hopefully there'll be a re-release with the print that's circulating as a part of the Hou retro coz it's really great.

The last scene of the film is better but I don't recommend seeing it in isolation.
