Exciting, because I haven't seen any of these yet. (Except for MWFT, which is a rerelease.) Artwork is also all-around awesome this time. Some of their best in ages.

Stands to reason that some folks might want certain individual films from that box set without having to splurge on the whole thing. Makes sense to me.

omfg the bridge. it's good. i've emailed criterion a couple times in the past for treatments this was one. a few of them have come to fruition. nothing to do with me but in order for them to get ideas/recurring title mentions, individuals gotta throw their hat in the ring

Yeah, this kind of makes more sense, especially since they are releasing the Before trilogy. They could release it along with those to offer the complete Jesse/Céline experience

Or Jan Troell's Here's Your Life

Klimt was on Instant last I checked, but that was a while ago. Otherwise, I don't think either of them are on Blu, unfortunately. They have the DVDs, though.

Wasn't sure how I felt about it initially, but I actually really love that Hiroshima Mon Amour cover. It's a close-up of someone's palm, but it also closely resembles a map or an aerial view of an area. Wonderfully subtle evocation of the fusion of the personal/regional that constitutes so much of the film.
