Do you tend to avoid black & white films? And, if so, do you also tend to shy away from b&w stills?

Actually, I just noticed that the picture was taken in 1928, so my apologies. Should've checked the date on it. Although, I'm not too big on the lighting in it. I liked most of the other black and white pictures in here more, because they had more shades of white and black to them.

To answer your original question, I like black and white movies and photos a lot. As for the imagery, however, I find black and white movies/photos more impressive when they have different shades of black and white.

Anzor Bukharsky. Bukhara Region. Uzbekistan. A 6 y.o is running on a mountain of cardboard and paper.

"Gypsies earn a portion of their living by collecting cardboard and paper waste and then selling it to the recycling facilities."

While there's very little information available on Bukharsky in English, he appears to be from Uzbekistan and works predominantly as a street photographer in the surrounding area. This is one of the few photographs I could find any details about.

Color photography existed before then, though.

In that case, I still feel like that photo would've looked better without snow.
