Post Corrie Class Trip 3.0 #3: Clean, Shaven (Sat 11/18)

Corrie Class Trip is a project where we rotate the selection of a title for group watches on an appointed day/date to then discuss [previous iterations linked below]. We welcome all to participate and share their thoughts and feelings! The third viewing for Round 3 is scheduled for Saturday, November 18th. Please post about the film itself and your experience with it in this thread, and any off-topic posts about the series itself in the Class Trip Discussion Thread.

Thanks and enjoy!!!

xoxo,
your classmates

Clean, Shaven (Kerrigan, 1993)

It's also available on FilmStruck.

Quote:
Peter Winter is a young schizophrenic who is desperately trying to get his daughter back from her adoptive family. He attempts to function in a world that, for him, is filled with strange voices, electrical noise, disconcerting images, and jarringly sudden emotional shifts. He clings to his humanity like a raft, barely afloat in a sea of terror. In a brief moment of congruence, he shatters his image reflected in a window, perhaps to more properly align it with his fragmented psyche. During his quest, he runs afoul of the law and an ongoing murder investigation.

That's fine. Thanks for letting me know. I just hope that enough people use this thread.

eh just for the hell of it, do you use Windows 10 and if so have you been getting random buzzing noises through the audio? like at 0:48. didn't have this problem with Windows 8. shit's driving me nuts.

and it's even doing this to my new laptop so it can't be an age thing.

I use Windows 10, but I haven't been experiencing that problem. However, I happened to find this article online. Hopefully, it helps you.

yeah I had stumbled upon that link before; the buzzing noise that they are describing doesn't seem to be mine since it isn't affecting the audio quality. plus mine is intermittent. thanks though.

just out of curiosity what brand of laptop do you use? both of mine are Dell. (I have no goddamn idea if this makes any difference to the problem but what the hey)

Post Re: Corrie Class Trip 3.0 #3: Clean, Shaven (Sat 11/18)

I haven't been able to access the RT forum. Every time I sign in to my account and go to the forum, I get a message which says "An error has occured accessing this page. Please try again later." If I sign out of my account, I can access it just fine, but as soon as I sign in again, the forum shows that message again. I tried signing out and back in numerous times and using Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge, but nothing works. It's really pissing me off. I have no idea what happened.

Edit: I just created a new account, and I started a thread on this.
