Wig, I want to see your list!
Did a little digging and found that four of my ten don't appear on any of the Little White Lies lists. Totally understandable in the case of The Strange Little Cat, Like Father Like Son, and Himizu. But where is A Touch of Sin?!
Also, I put the wrong Sono on mine. Guilty of Romance is a significantly greater film, though I love it somewhat less.

1. The Assassin (Hou Hsiao-hsien) 2. The Immigrant (James Gray) 3. The Act of Killing (Joshua Oppenheimer) 4. Holy Motors (Leos Carax) 5. Bastards (Claire Denis) 6. Post Tenebras Lux (Carlos Reygadas) 7. The Turin Horse (Béla Tarr) 8. Almayer's Folly (Chantal Akerman) 9. Spring Breakers (Harmony Korine) 10. Under the Skin (Jonathan Glazer)
All masterpieces or near-masterpieces IMO. It's been a great decade so far.

Sorry. The hype is huge on that one, unfortunately. But Hou Hsiao-hsien is like a top 5 director for me, so it was damn near inevitable in my case. It's a contender for his best film IMO.

I have. It's so good! Another haunting poem of loss, but this time transplanting Ventura from the dreamy Lisbon of Colossal Youth to a timeless prison/hospital/mental space of torment and regret. It sent shivers down my spine.

Izzy Black wrote: I'm dying to see it. How does it rank/compare to his others? (Particularly the trilogy) Hmm, I don't know how I'd rank it. It's very similar to Colossal Youth, but darker, with much broader concerns of history and guilt. I could maybe put his work in tiers: Horse Money/ Colossal Youth/ Casa de Lava Ossos/ O Sangue In Vanda's Room
