Me? Well, not really, I guess. I still exercise a lot but don't at all care about making myself look opposingly large. I'm likely a little lighter and/or leaner than I had been in my mid twenties.

Thank you, ribs. I remember your venue being very charming from the pictures I recall -- and that it's already been over a year!

Not digging the poison dart frog orange. You'd look hot with brown hair though.

the orange is the washed out red - i'm waiting for more of it to clear ut before I do something else. festival season is coming around though and I'd like to stand out, so probably not going for brown.

Thought I'd bring my camera to a bar to see if the bands playing would let me do some photos. They were all fine with it, but only the blues band from Sudbury's came out decent. I sent them the photos but now every time I look at them I see things I can edit to make them a little better. I don't really like going to town with editing stuff though.

There was also a one man rockabilly band from Montreal but he turned the lights off him since the bar was already a crock pot of heat. So his photos turned out pretty shitty but I managed to get one before they moved the lights away.

There was a three day free blues festival in our downtown park, it was pretty much the kind of show I've wanted to take photos of but haven't been allowed. But they didn't care about cameras at this one. Wish I had seen more bands, the ones I did see were all amazing. I think this is the best photo I took from the weekend, during Devon Allman's set:

i love your photos!

Have you tried setting up a website (I know you have insta) so that you can potentially start applying for press? Not only would you be able to photograph a wider variety of shows and maybe even go see them for free

Kinda. This is the first show that I've really liked the way everything turned out so I may use these as a portfolio. The bar shows can have a neat atmosphere but they're hard to work with, the stage is usually small and dark and the bands don't always have a unique look to them. When I was working with our hockey team I tried using that network to get in for our venue concerts but I only got one.

To be honest, I don't know if I'll ever have the need to find a wife, or have any kids of my own. I'm just too much of a loner IRL to bother with all of that... but I'm more than happy to have fun with my current family, of course.
