I saw Bringing Out The Dead (1999) on the big screen yesterday and since then I've been awake for about 36 hours straight and somehow that seems awfully fitting.

I still need to see that, along with First Reformed... I'm kind of bad about finding time to watch movies these days, I'm afraid.

No, I just "blazed" it to try it out, see what the "situation" was, if you know what I mean. I still haven't seen Endgame. :(

Honestly, nothing happened and I was very disappointed. :(

I "toked" another one the next day and I maybe felt a little more relaxed, and an episode of TV I watched seemed pretty funny, but otherwise it wasn't as extreme as I expected. Maybe I wasn't "blazing" properly, or I'm just immune to the powerful narcotic effects.

That sounds about right, it's not like "blazing" is anything too extreme. I get just as "gooned" off a nice cup of chamomile tea for all intents and purposes

Maybe it's worth checking out one of your local legal marijuana shoppes and see if they have edibles. Edibles take some figuring out with dosages and such but they wield the potential of extreme goonage. I ate 400mg of butane hash oil infused chocolate before Endgame... which is a lot... you can probably get away with 50-100mg

It also depends on the bud, it takes some experimentation to find your strain. Indica, sativa, hybrids, cbd... I just go with whatever has the highest percentage of THC at this point

I think I'll go with more THC next time. I went with a "1:1" blend because I was told that was good for "n00bs", or d00b n00bs to coin a powerful phrase.

You should be getting high quality stuff. Obscure? Is evil your drug dealer? Is that why you're not getting high? Are you sure he just didn't swap out your weed for some high quality cigar tobacco?

Ah, weed. I have a job that drug tests if you get injured, so no more of that for me. Last time I did smoke, I got pretty high, but that was years ago.

Scure sure has changed. He does drugs and he's 16 and he's basically Jess from Gilmore Girls.

Honestly, first couple times you smoke, it might just not do anything. Try not to overdo in reaction to that. Otherwise, you could get way too high, panic and post on YMCA.

I haven't been watching it or any other series lately, so I just read spoilers for all the latest major plot points on it...

That's some advanced stupidity... I mean, she got the power to single handily destroy a Kree battleship by standing next to an engine which explodes on her. She is a ridiculous character, and the movie does nothing to temper her ridiculousness. Like, I kinda just want to spoil it and get Obscure over the hump, ship explodes, gains super powers, gets a kree blood transfusion, kicks Jude Law's ass, is super fucking powerful

The engine thing I can almost just kinda look past because it’s supposed to be powered by the Tesseract and essentially imbues Carol with the power of an Infinity Stone, so that’s like whatever not enough to really bother me. They seemingly likely completely retconned Ronan tho unless at some point he replaced his hard-on with slaughtering Skrull with a hard-on for avenging an entirely different space war we’ve only been told about in passing but never actually shown.

Goose is an all time MCU MVP tho
