The world is currently an unrelenting series of existential crises and laughter is a salve that alleviates the dread.

Just with the sunny conversation, it felt like a scene that could be from that show almost. It might also be the only scene I remember from six seasons of New Girl.

So is Mac and Dee.

And Dennis married the pharmacist who stopped filling grandma's prescriptions.

I hear Frank is banging some waitress in Boston.

I knew about Mac and Dee, but something about Charlie and the Waitress being married is so funny to me based on the nature of that relationship. I hope they met filming the show and not before, that makes it funnier.

Sadly then, they were together before. They first appeared together as inbred twins on Reno 911 about a year before Sunny premiered.

It really has been. Also, my old fashioned isnt super simple either, cause I'm still a fancy boy. Rittenhouse bottled in bond rye, peychauds barrel aged bitters, reagans orange bitters and a bar spoon of demerara syrup.

When it comes to whiskey I usually lean towards Bourbon or Irish. Been drinking beer more than anything because that’s the product I move best/most frequently.

Best whiskey I’ve had recently was Tyrconnell 16 Years. Single Malt Irish aged in Sherry & Moscatel casks.

I'm a redbreast guy myself, love the 12 and the 15 yr, keep the Lustau and the 21yr on my maybe when money is no object list. I also fucking love jameson black barrel, definitely one of the best values for sipping whiskey with what is available here.

I imagine you have all the four roses single barrel bourbon you could ever want for. That is bar none my favorite sipping bourbon, and a fuckihg hell of a bargain at 40 American or whatever it is, blows way more expensive bourbons right out of the water. Unfortunately the only way I can get it is by sneaking it across an international border, I'm gonna bring a case the next opportunity I get.

Glendalough Double Barrel is my personal go to for Irish. We carry the 12 and the Lustau on request from a regular, haven’t gotten around to trying either out yet but have been considering splurging recently (currently saving money to take classes to get certified as the beer equivalent of a Sommelier)

Four Roses was a major staple of our bourbon shelves up until we moved locations at the end of 2018, haven’t seen it since, but we’ve been moving a lot of Rowan’s Creek/Basil Hayden’s/High West which have formed a solid trio of store favorite bourbons. If you can find it secure yourself a bottle of Corner Creek, something happened with the distribution into my state so we haven’t carried it for years but it was a fantastic $27-32 bottle of sipping bourbon. Single man operation and he made a point to specifically call and thank us when he first started carrying it.

One of our sales reps keeps bringing in this Aperol competitor and showing off it’s versatility and it’s great. Goes well with bubbly, gin, ginger beer, grapefruit beer, etc.

I recently had a non-alcoholic cocktail that was ginger ale with lavender. I think it would've made Evil throw the glass into the bar.

The proper term is “mocktail” that also sounds very tasty, as far as sodas for mixing, ginger ale is the most versatile.

I'm not sure I like the Frank POV episode, but I admire that they did it. This is easily a show that could've just coasted on "the gang has some hijinx" episodes week after week, and it's nice that they constantly shake it up.

I think you can get it in Ontario? I bought Four Roses Small Batch from the LCBO years ago, pretty sure they had the single barrel as well. LCBO site can delivery some in store or home delivery but only if you're in Ontario.

Score one for the ballsack! All we can get is regular old 4 Roses, and even that is new within the last year, it alright. The single barrel though, oh my.
