He’s in basically every episode except the final 3 and they’re all quality with the finale just ending in the way you’d least expect an episode to end

Love that after all the years it took Mac to become the muscle head he always convinced himself he was that he uses the power to beat the piss out of kids.

The next episode is my favorite of the season

Hmmmmmmmm, some serious science must be sussed. I watched Infinity War the night before and it felt correct, but if I were to be completely honest Infinity War is the better movie so you may accidentally end up dampening your experience. You could read "better" as "different". It would almost be more impactful to have Infinity War's ending drift in the air for so long before watching Endgame, maybe I spoiled myself. Overall you are probably correct in that this is Marvel's Infinity Jest :shifty:

I think it was not what I was expecting in a good way and a bad way. It pulls a lot of shit and I'm not sure if it all works where Infinity War is just a cohesive front to back slammer jammer. When it jives it really jives and has produced several of the series' finest moments but it's not without it's bumps.

I'll thrown my hat in the ring for Endgame; Infinity War was pretty good, but its run-on sentence pacing felt over-stuffed and constantly rushed, and it didn't hit its notes of Empire Strikes Back-style "the good guys lose!" story beats hard enough to achieve true greatness in the end. Endgame, on the other hand, took its time to build up its story and many individual character arcs, so that, by the time the big final battle inevitably came, it all hit with more emotional impact than any other film in the MCU has to date, as far as I'm concerned.

My age is catching up to me.

Spent three weeks in the hospital due to congestive heart failure. The good news was that I didn't need to have anything invasive done. (unlike a fellow businessman who had a quadruple bypass) The worst they had to do was knock me out and jump start me like a Buick because a couple of my heart chambers weren't firing right.

My parents were nice enough to put me up for a week or two until I had the strength back to go home. Plus my mom is a retired nurse and greatly helped in organizing my meds and getting me to follow-up doctor visits.

But I'm home now, and I'm about 8 pounds lighter than I have been for the last couple of years. Actually squeezed into a pair of jeans I haven't worn in months or longer.

I'm on a cocktail of assorted meds to keep my heart and such working properly. Otherwise feeling good. They don't want me going to the gym for a couple of months but I'm walking a lot more. Before I went into the hospital I would literally walk ten feet and lose my breath. Hell, I'd put my pants on in the morning and lose my breath. It was bad. I should have gotten looked at months ago, but you know how you put things off.

So, important life lesson: if you're losing your breath, don't have any strength, all that good stuff - don't wait. Get checked out. I was probably pretty close to death, and that's no bullshit. When I first went to the emergency room I was retaining a lot of water which was pressing against my lungs so I could barely breathe. I actually passed out once in the ER while I was down there and scared the shit out of everyone.

It's good to be back. I missed you miserable fuckers. :)

Hi DP, glad you are not dead.

I like sitcoms but I grew up in the 90s when most of TV was sitcoms.

Infinity War is better than Endgame. I love both anyways.

That's it for now - I wanted to get back to the gym but I've been told to hold off for a couple of months. Just walking as my primary exercise for now.
