I think it's a great companion piece to Taxi Driver. It is what it is.

Disney+ has some good classic shows and good new ones. I still need to finish Gravity Falls. And also the New Ducktales is TOP NOTCH.
Gravity Falls rules. I have way too many things to watch so no Disney+ for me.

...another movie that could also be called a companion piece to Driver, and a better one to boot... though I still thought Joker was pretty good.

Why are the critics even comparing it to Scorsese or Taxi Driver? Actually absurd

Because the movie rips off/pays homage (depending on your point of view) Taxi Driver and also The King of Comedy? I got the references but I still liked the movie. Although the last act has some issues.

That wasn't my favorite movie, especially given that Ace spoiled it. That stupid post was in my head the entire time, want to know where you spoiled everything, Ace?
By suggesting that you think it's going to go one way and then it goes another indicates a "drop", that "drop" being the moment where they go into the basement and find the old housekeeper's husband. You spoiled the structure of the movie you dunce

How many times on average does it take you to fully consume an Anna Kendrick? Have you seen End of Watch by David Aryan?

I wonder how Disney’s algorithm interprets it when you watch a movie and immediately cancel your subscription.

I'm not big on war movies but the 1917 hype is hard to resist. My #1 of 10.3... may as well rank those movies

#0.3 Irishman
#10 Joker
#9 Godzilla: King of the Monsters
#8 Captain Marvel
#7 Pokemon Detective Pikachu
#6 Alita: Battle Angel
#5 Spider-Man: Far From Home
#4 Knives Out
#3 Endgame
#2 Parasite
#1 Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood
