Poppy's new LP, "I Disagree", deserves to be a "YMCA Sensation", ie, maybe three of us listen to it and quote lyrics

The worst thing about all these streaming services is how I can have them all and still not be able to watch what I want. I was going to watch Brick but it's not on anything and then I was thinking of watching Rocketman and I can't watch that either!

I am so tired of the dog dying in movies.

If you manage to find a movie you want to watch online it is usually on a streaming service you don't have. Piracy is going to start coming back if this shit continues.

But yeah, I get it. That describes my wife's extended family, and based on the bad things she's said about them, I'm glad they're hundreds of miles away from us.

No worries, I was not offended or anything (well maybe by smalley calling me Slim Shady). I'm just not the kind of person whose gonna give much in the way of actual "deets", I left what was a shitty upbringing in the past twenty years ago and that's where its staying, other than the occasional cryptic allusion.

I could just upload a copy if you don't mind it on a screen instead of paper. I think otherwise it comes in three acts.

I'll finish it someday but honestly I bailed on that for being too slow.

I would suffer reading it online via Rkod, it's a lousily collected comic. Three trades spanning 12 issues? Plus the trades are tricky to find, unpopular comics have a way of disappearing into the ether

I've been up at 4am every day this past week from random circumstance. Yesterday it was my cat throwing up, today it was someone slamming their door in the hallway (fuck apartments). I tried going back to sleep but that FUCKING ROCK DRILL has been going 7am to 7pm 6 days a week. I tried so hard to push my sleep schedule on Sunday but I'm, like, screwed to the point where it feels I need to go to the hospital. Who do I complain to about this stuff!? Should I just throw a milkshake at that drill asshole, like, what kind of degenerate finds themselves doing THAT job, trades are a huge mistake

Made the calls, the city is building a new fire hall... just started a year long bout of rock drilling. 6 days a week 12 hours a day, like, what? How is this allowed? There are at least four apartment buildings affected by this. I'll be gone in March but holy shit I'm not looking forward to this month, every minute with this noise is hell

I'm not going around throwing milkshakes but Jesus Christ, employed by the city of Victoria to cause hundreds, maybe thousands, of people hell for an entire year, all paying 1500 dollars per month for their downtown Victoria suites. This "poor bastard" is literally Satan, and that drill is the burning bush telling me to do things.

This shit penetrates my noise cancelling headphones when I'm playing music, and I have expensive earplugs as well which don't do much. It's a truly vicious, soul piercing noise.
