Yeah mostly, one of our cats is old and kind of sickly so we have generalized worry in that regard, the other is 9 or so (insipid had hom before we were together so I cant be sure on his age) and he was sick over the weekend but we think it is cause he got into some people food. It was looking like work was going to be crazy busy, and it was for 6 weeks or so around christmas, but it is slow again. The jobs are still their to be built, just nothing is flowing together the way I had hoped, hopefully April is the start of it all... starting and I will be running and stressed till next Christmas. It's not the end of the world cause my boss keeps me busy with little bullshit projects, but I like the big 30 days straight out of town come back and get a check for sixteen grand kind of jobs.

If everything goes to hell, we’ll all rendezvous in Manitoba and rescue Firebender from the US. In our team dynamic, I’ll be the tough leader, Evil will drive the truck, and everyone else is plucky comic relief.

9 year old kitty is on the mend (hopefully), his name is Mitchell. I took older kitty, Sonya, to the vet today because she has kidney issues but those issues aren’t progressing so that is good. She does, however, have a persistent bladder infection so it means 4 weeks of antibiotics which sucks.

Everything else has been pretty good. Mostly boring hence why I don’t drop in very often. That and I need to change my av (because I am no longer a fan of person in av) but my ol’ lap top (which I’ve named Mr. Clunky) is where my photoshop is and it’s been so long since I’ve even made one and I’m older than dirt so I don’t know if I still remember how, and that’s a very silly reason for not dropping by but I’m a very silly person.

You mentioned that you were anxious, Obscure, why is that?

Comic relief? I'd at least be the intel guy since I have binoculars now that I'm a bird guy and NOT because I"m spying on my neighbors.

Yeah apparently they contracted it in Australia but this is breaking alongside a Jazz player being confirmed, and the President of Brazil may have it as well and a member of his government who met with Trump on Saturday has been showing symptoms

So a pair of multimillionaires with every medical resource at their disposal contracted an illness that kills hardly anyone, with the likeliest outcome being that it publicizes the notion that this contagion is immensely survivable? Oh, the horror.

DFW is pretty shut down. I live in an area that's all about night light (so it's pretty much all bars/restaurants/concerts) and it's like a ghost town right now. I've never seen it this way.

I feel pretty lucky to have a job that allows me to work from home and I'm not in danger of being fired. I know SO many bartenders who are freaking out right now. :(

But, hey, maybe this is a good time to bring back the Film Society!

My entire industry could be fucked because the governor shut down all bars without understanding the ABCC 60 day payment law so a lot of them are gonna get posted and have an incredibly hard time reopening. Our store is still open and my boss is fighting like hell to get the governor to understand the law and use his emergency powers to change it. If we can’t convince him our future and a lot of other people‘a are up in the air

Thanks, man; things were actually really slow at my store last Saturday, but that might just be because the initial wave of panic-buying ran its course earlier, and there haven't been any cases reported originating in this county (yet); I'd hate to see what things would be like if that happened. The good news is, it's sort of an "essential" business, so it's less likely to get shut down (and costing me my job in the process), but that also means that I have to keep showing up for work, pretending everything's normal while I live in dread of catching it from one of the dozens of people I come into close proximity every day, and end up spreading it to my family, so it's a pretty big Catch-22 for me : /
