Macro, I haven't seen that movie but that clip is so great :heart:.

This one's a bit of a cheat in that it's not a pure dance scene but that's how I always think of it. Also, the scene immediately preceding this one is so great also and probably deserves it's own entry here.

Right up there when it comes to directors I adore that use dancing to great effect in their films is Jarmusch.

That's one of three excellent dance scenes in the movie. The rest of Cimino's film sucks, but everyone should see it once just for the notoriety associated with the project.

Love these additions, dreiser. Mickey is so young and hot in that clip. And I only refrained from posting that Ophuls because it's so dialogue-heavy (but y, such a wonderfully filmed dance!).

I just love the way Ophuls uses the different costumes to convey the passage of time. Iconic.
