I've had a crappy copy of Betty Blue sitting around my apartment for years and have never watched it, and now Criterion is just giving me more reason to not put on my crappy copy. Urgh.
Happened to me many a times. Most recently with Dragon Inn. It was worth dropping that horrendous but once rare version to watch that one first. One of the more beautiful classic wuxia I've seen.

I have a decent DVD of Now Voyager in a TCM set that's starting to look unlikely of getting a watch.

Criterion discs are 50% off. You're very welcome. <sips latte, adjusts ascot>

If anybody needs me, I'll be watching Godzilla movies for the foreseeable future. Please send food if you don't hear from me for a couple of weeks.

Good gawd, this set is gorgeous!
