The 82nd Annual Academy Awards

Post by Ethan is the Best » Sat Mar 06, 2010 11:46 pm

I figured we should make some sort of official anticipation/reaction thread for the very event here. Anyway...

I will win $50 if The Hurt Locker, Bigelow, Bridges, Bullcock, Waltz, and Mo'nique win--so those are the ones I'm rooting for.

I only really cared for Logorama. A Matter of Loaf and Death was good, but far from the best Wallace & Grommit, The Lady and the Reaper was cute, French Toast was meh, and Lady O'Grimm kind of annoyed me.

It's also more than a little random to so matter-of-factly tell a director who he should cast. I mean: what the hell?

Sandra Bullock won worst actress at the Razzies. If she wins tomorrow, she will be the first woman to win best actress and worst actress in one year.

That's mildly interesting, I guess.
