I highly recommended following artist @brucemccorkinda on Twitter because he's doing an "Arthouse Muppets" project this month. Here's his entry for Last Year at Marienbad:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned yesterday's Rick and Morty trailer. Season 4 premiering Nov 10th is a way cool birthday present.

Harbour's SNL episode was one of the better ones in a while. I also loved the sketch where he played an Italian grandmother.

I wasn't about to sit through a crappy MNF game featuring the Patriots just to catch this. Thankfully it was up on youtube almost immediately. Looks damn good. But then so did the trailer for The Last Jedi and we all know how that turned out.

I guess I'm with the haters on this one. I never have bothered to rewatch it though. I probably should. It's just that I remember it being sooooo bad.

Ethan Hawke has become the kind of actor that you make time for.

My Russian is a little rusty, but I'm pretty sure Dorothy is inviting us to a borscht blast in Moscow, paid in full by Vladimir Putin.

How low will the box office have to be for this to be considered a Marvel failure?

I don't know. I mean, Cary Fukunaga directing and co-writing the script with Phoebe Waller-Bridge. The other three writers listed have worked on previous Bond films or Contagion and one of the Bourne movies. That's a positive sign, I hope.

As always, I disagree with the actual list Ehrlich provides, but the video on itself is so fun.

I love seeing Elijah Wood in anything. And Stephen McHattie? I took notice of him when he was in stuff like the late 70's miniseries Centennial. But ever since watching Pontypool I've become an actual fan.

It's right there in the trailer. From the studio who brought you Hereditary and Midsommar.

For anyone interested in the brain melting combination of Nicolas Cage and H.P. Lovecraft. From the producers of Mandy. And directed by Richard Stanley. If you want background on him just watch Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau. It's a fascinating documentary of the out of control cluster fuck that was that movies production. SPOILER: Val Kilmer does not come off well. Anyway, this looks... worthy.

Saw both of those at TIFF last year. Saint Maud is quite good and a great example of taking obvious influences (Repulsion is the big one) without feeling like it's in their shadow. Color Out of Space sadly goes in narrative and stylistic directions that feel too obvious given the talent involved (and is probably a good argument against letting Cage do what he wants without reigning him in, as his performance is distracting and shapeless), but is probably worth a watch if you're interested in the source material.

Guns Akimbo - release date: March 5

I've been waiting MONTHS for this. Ever since I saw an image of Daniel Radcliffe running around in bathrobe and bear feet slippers with two handguns.
