Have you seen this one?

So fun.
Did anybody else think the woman who backflips into the pool misses a head injury by less than two inches?

Yeah, and I thought it was super fun! Especially Daryl Hannah showing up in costume.

As a big fan of Tony Shalhoub and Monk this was really gratifying to watch.

Just now hearing of this even though it's been out for a month. The sequel to one of the best zombie films in years.

Oh man, you been missin' out!
In honesty, I guess it's because I was such a huge fan of The Road Warrior when I was a kid that when Commando and Weird Science came out in '85, I was all over that.

See, I didn't even know that TRW came out before Commando. I had never really bothered to research it. I wouldn't have known how to go about researching it. I don't think the internet existed back then. But it probably did in some weird ass W.O.P.R setup. Who knows? "Not I", said the inlud (that's like an incel but is short for involuntary Luddite)

I heard the violence in this video was over-the-top and ridiculous, so I wasn't sure if it would just be some ridiculous effects here and there or whatnot. But damn, they really went all out on the gore. It's like watching Final Destination. I love it!

That was impressive. When I had to learn to drive a forklift at a big box store they showed me a work safety video. No actual training mind you, just sitting and watching a 15 minute short to get my "official certification". It wasn't as awe-inspiring as this though. Just your basic don't do this!/cautionary sort of narrative. But they were doing crazy ass shit like drifting and one guy drove his forklift off a pier. I never got a chance to do any of that.

Were Final Destination-esque, freak accidents like the ones depicted in this short commonplace?

In the training video I watched or in my actual workplace? Neither really. It wasn't a particularly huge warehouse, so you could never get a good head of steam going. And I was so paranoid and anal retentive that I did everything in slow motion. Now there was another time when I worked overnight in a store and my crew would have pallet jack races. The foreman finally put a stop to it because we'd either end up wiping out displays or gouge the crap out of the floors.

Just for the record, my question was a joke. I wasn't being serious with asking it. But yeah, sounds like you and your coworkers managed to bring some life into the job. That's cool.

The Instagram feed springfieldalbums is one of the best I've seen, Simpsons-related or not. Here's one of the many highlights:

I registered for HBO Max mostly because someone here said they'd have all the Lone Wolf & Cub movies. But this was like on the first day and there were glitches galore and I haven't been back since. But then there's this.

Well the main selling point for HBO Max was that it was free. As it is I have access to (firsthand and through others) quite a few streaming services that I neglect. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu and HBO Max. I just can't work up the energy to add another to the mix.

I would argue the bulk of those are worth axing in favor of Criterion Channel. It's a hell of a deal for us latte sippers
