In the early 80s Marvel Comics commissioned two feature-length made-for-TV movies from Toei Animation in Japan, based on two of their monster titles, neither of which were currently in print at the time, which is weird.
Too bad there wasn't a Werewolf By Night movie as well.

Sure thing. That was probably me! Ahh the good old days of Rotten Tomatoes. Can't believe they erased that entire archive.

I was just thinking yesterday that I should probably curate a Youtube playlist, for the ones that are on Youtube that is. Maybe I'll have done that by October, if so I'll pass it along.

So I attempted to start a playlist today. However, a lot of the videos have been designated by the poster(s) as "Children's content", and certain Youtube safety rules prevent those videos from being added to a playlist. I think this is Youtube's attempt to subtly remind me that I'm a grown-ass man who should be doing more productive things with his time.

So-- I'll still make a playlist, but a lot of the good stuff won't be on it. :(

Can you not put "Children's content" on a playlist?

Right, if it's designated as for children, the "add to playlist" button is grayed out. I think that's to prevent someone from making a playlist for kids and sneaking something R-rated in there.

Yeah, recently I wanted to add a movie to my "watch later" list on youtube but it said I couldn't for those exact reasons. It was Jules Dassin's The Naked City for Pete's sake!

Ah yes! Childhood memories of a big bowl of Froot Loops and some Dassin after school...

I've yet to see that one but a young relative is a huge fan.

BULLETIN: A large cash reward awaits the individual who can locate a copy of Halloween starring Toby the Pup (1931) that is better than the cruddy version on Youtube and elsewhere. Thank you.
